The T-Rex Replicator is really, actually and genuinely an analogue tape echo in a stompbox. Real tape winds around two real tape-heads for the vintage delay sound that started it all while, since this is a fully mechanistic pedal using magnetic tape, you get none of the vintage problems. This pedal runs completely silent. Also, since this is a genuine T-Rex, it's also built like a tank so, just like the original machines it replicates, it's going to last through decades worth of shows.

What the T-Rex Replicator Does

The Replicator is fitted with two heads that play back the delay signal. The second can be enabled independently for that classic Rockabilly effect, while there's a built-in chorus function with dedicated footswitch and Tap-Tempo footswitch. The magic really starts happening when you play with the pots lined up on either side of the tape cassette, where you get control over Delay Level, Feedback, Delay Time, Saturate, Chorus and Master Boost.

An Extra Expression Pedal and Replaceable Cassette

To keep both hands free while playing, T-Rex have added two inputs for expression pedals (sold separately). Here, you can remotely control delay time and/or feedback and create truly dynamic effects. Also, while the cassette comes with a surprisingly long life, it's an easy job to replace it for a fresh one (not included). The Replicator also comes with its very own 24V power supply.
